Behavioral Health Counseling – Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

What is the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Someone Cares Inc. is a structured Level 2.1 treatment program offered during the day or evening. Participants typically attend 3–5 days per week, for up to 3 hours per day.

IOP is designed for individuals who require a higher level of care to build effective coping skills, support recovery from substance use, and improve overall mental health and quality of life. Each participant follows an individualized treatment plan that includes a combination of psycho-therapeutic, psycho-educational, and activity-based sessions.

Our approach integrates both holistic and evidence-based practices, creating a well-rounded recovery model grounded in the latest behavioral health research. The group setting fosters a supportive and cohesive environment, helping participants build connections, increase accountability, and improve treatment engagement.

Participants can maintain their daily responsibilities, including work or school, while enrolled in the program. Attendance and treatment intensity are tailored to each individual’s goals and clinical needs.
